These Terms of Service govern your use of Citizen Squared. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old, be a natural person, and successfully complete identity verification. C² operates a strict one-person, one-account policy.

2. Identity Verification

You must provide genuine identity documents. Providing false documents may constitute a criminal offence under applicable law including the Crimes Act 1961 (NZ) and the Criminal Code Act 1995 (AU).

3. Acceptable Use

You must not: vote more than once on any poll, post false or defamatory content, harass other users, impersonate anyone, spread disinformation, or use automated tools on the platform.

4. Voting Integrity

Each verified account is entitled to one vote per poll. You may change your vote up to three times. Votes are stored using cryptographic hashing. Attempting to manipulate results may be reported to law enforcement.

5. Content

You retain ownership of content you create. By posting, you grant C² a non-exclusive licence to display it on the platform. C² polls are advisory only and have no legal force.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for breaching these Terms. You may appeal within 30 days to [email protected].

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, C²'s liability is limited to NZD $100 or the amount you paid in the prior 12 months. Nothing limits liability for negligence causing death or injury. Australian Consumer Law and the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ) apply where applicable.

8. Governing Law
